Bishop O'Dowd High School

A Master Plan was developed to meet the current and future needs of Bishop O’Dowd High School (1,125 students). The Master Plan incorporates strategies to design/construct new facilities and modernize existing ones in several phases over the next 10-15 years. The initial implementation phase included the modernization of 28 classrooms and four science labs, the addition of two environmental classroom labs and the seismic retrofit of a gymnasium. Future phased construction will include a new athletic center, student center, cafeteria, chapel, counseling center and administration building and renovations/additions to existing buildings. The campus and buildings are being designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
