Hanna Boys Center
A 10-year Master Plan was developed for the Hanna Boys Center, a year-round, 24-hour residential treatment and educational facility for 120 at-risk boys in grades 7-12. Following the Master Plan, a new admissions/alumni center (7,800sf), multi-use auditorium (11,100sf), and multi-use baseball field were designed. Future improvements will include seismic upgrades to the chapel, gym, and woodshop; upgrades to the main entry and entry road; and renovations to the dining facility, main quad, residential cottages, gymnasium and multi-use field. Other new facilities to be designed will include a learning center, guest house, amphitheater, group homes, parking, 4-H facility and classrooms. The campus and buildings are being designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
