CSDA is conducting programming meetings to plan and design three new Science Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) buildings for Hayward Unified School District(HUSD). While many K-12 Districts in California are reconfiguring existing facilities to better support STEAM curriculum, HUSD’s buildings are one of the few STEAM new construction projects in the Bay Area.
CSDA competed Internationally with 21 design firms and was selected to prepare a master plan for the International School of Latvia (ISL) in Riga, Latvia. Due to growing concerns regarding the earthquake risk and San Francisco’s private schools, City supervisors recently approved a law requiring seismic evaluations of all private schools in the City and County of San Francisco. This law is the first of its kind in California. It will require approximately 120 private schools to complete seismic evaluations
