New Project: International School of Latvia

IS Latvia

CSDA competed Internationally with 21 design firms and was selected to prepare a master plan for the International School of Latvia (ISL) in Riga, Latvia. While the facility was built only five years ago, ISL has experienced a significant increase in enrollment thus creating the need for an updated campus master plan. Additionally, ISL is looking to increase classroom flexibility and create more spaces for student collaboration.

Recently, Randy DeVoto (Principal) and Mike Schoen (Associate) of CSDA visited the ISL campus to analyze existing building conditions, evaluate existing site conditions, and interview faculty and staff to develop a conceptual architecture program. These items will serve as a basis for the development of master plan design services.

As part of their first trip to Riga, Latvia, Randy and Mike enjoyed visiting several historical sites, experiencing the local culture, food and beautiful scenery.

CSDA has served as consultants to educational facilities planners worldwide and has completed 15 master plans for international school clients in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.
