4200 GEARY BOULEVARD

CSDA was retained to work on the 4200 Geary Boulevard housing project located in San Francisco, CA. The project consists of the construction of a 7-story building with 6 floors of 100% affordable residential above a ground floor with amenities. The development will have 98 units of affordable housing ranging from studios to 1-bedroom apartments divided as follows: twenty-five (25) of the units will be dedicated to formerly homeless seniors, twenty-five (25) units will serve extremely low income seniors, and the remaining units (48) will serve seniors making 70% and 75% MOHCD AMI. The ground floor will feature amenities such as a large community room, tenant services, property management offices, and commercial space of approximately 1,300 sf. This project is
pursuing GreenPoint Rating and participating in the Living Building Challenge Affordable Housing Pilot Program.

Our acoustical consulting services includes an environmental noise study, sound isolation, room acoustics, MEP/HVAC noise, construction site visits, design input and fa├žade acoustical design. Our involvement begins with Schematic Design through Construction Administration.

COLLEGE OF MARIN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS BUILDING

The new College of Marin Facilities Planning, Maintenance, and Operations Department (M & O) Building provides maintenance and safe operations for custodial services and grounds maintenance.

Due to concern of noise complaints to adjacent facilities, CSDA was brought on board to perform noise analysis from the new M&O buildings to the neighboring receivers, Kent Middle School to the north and residences to the west. Our services consist of acoustical measurements of environmental community noise and noise modeling to evaluate the efficacy of the proposed eight-foot-tall property line fence.

POTRERO BLOCK B

CSDA was retained to provide acoustical consulting for Potrero Block B located in the Potrero neighborhood in San Francisco. The project is two 7-story buildings that will consist of 157 affordable housing units with ancillary spaces (e.g., flex room, homework room), childcare center and parking.

Our services include acoustic measurements, construction site visits, design input for sound isolation, HVAC/mechanical systems, room acoustics and community noise beginning with an Environmental Noise Study and ending with Construction Administration.

266 4TH STREET HOUSING

CSDA was retained to work for the 266 4th Street Housing residential project in San Francisco, CA. The project is being built on a flat L-shaped parcel and will be an 8-story residential building with 70 affordable below-market units ranging from studios to-two bedroom units. The apartments will occupy floors 2-8 and the first floor will have retail space, amenity spaces, at-grade courtyard, garden, play space and a top-floor terrace. The building is situated above a future SFMTA subway station under construction as part of the Central Subway Project.

Our acoustical consulting services includes an environmental noise study, Central Subway vibration evaluation, as well as input on sound isolation, room acoustics and MEP/HVAC noise and vibration.

HUNTERS POINT SHIPYARD BLOCK 52 AND 54

CSDA worked with the developer and Mithun to provide acoustical consulting for Hunters Point Shipyard Area Blocks 52 and 54 located located on non-contiguous parcels at 151 & 351 Friedell Street in San Francisco. The development consists of two buildings ranging from one-bedroom to five-bedroom units for low-income families. Offices
for building management and tenant services are located in the Block 52 building and residential amenity facilities, common to and shared between the two buildings, include a community room with kitchen, fitness room, common laundry rooms, lounge and roof terrace.
