To reduce the impacts of noise generated by aircraft from nearby General Mitchell International Airport, approximately 740 single- and multi-family homes are being acoustically treated using the single-parcel bid method. Consulting and management services for this multi-faceted, multi-year project include program management, architectural design, acoustical testing, environmental testing, construction management, homeowner outreach, grant administration, land acquisition assistance, navigation easement acquisition, homeowner sales assistance and Geographic Information Systems and document control systems development.
