Conducted in 13 phases over a period of 14 years, the SJC Acoustical Treatment Program was completed ahead of schedule and included acoustical modifications to more than 1,800 homes, 30 historical homes and two historical schools impacted by aircraft noise from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport. Services provided included program management, architectural design, acoustical design, mechanical/electrical design oversight, code issue identification, community outreach, agency liaison, and construction inspection and construction administration services.
