Approximately 1,700 single family homes impacted by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) aircraft noise were treated under the RSMS which was awarded the Arizona Governor’s Heritage Preservation Honor Award (2009) for preserving Arizona’s prehistoric and historic resources and the Randy Jones Award for Excellence in Airport Noise Mitigation (2009 AAAE Airport Noise Mitigation Symposium). Services provided included program management, residential and historical home acoustical design, construction administration, Owner representation during construction, sub-consultant and Airport consultant management, community outreach/public relations, FAA grant application preparation and administration and financial/close-out reporting.
