The Redwood High School new Aquatic Center (8,700 sf) includes a state-of-the-art pool that is jointly used for competitive swimming and community recreational programs. Other features include offices, changing rooms, a pool mechanical room, equipment storage areas and a roof structure that will support the future addition of solar thermal panels to provide heated water for the pool, restrooms and showers.
A new joint-use practice gymnasium located adjacent to the existing competition gymnasium provides additional space for Redwood High School as well as the Larkspur community.
Modernization of the existing facilities included: upgrades to the competition gymnasium, construction of new outdoor basketball and tennis courts, upgrades to the campus storm water systems, existing landscaping, parking lots and the school entrance.
