Extensive space reconfiguration resulted in a new library/media center; additional classrooms, restrooms and storage areas; creating a main office near the campus entrance; and redesigning the play yard to create a garden and outdoor classroom spaces. Modernization improvements included painting the building’s exterior; replacing existing windows with energy efficient glazed windows; replacing lighting with energy efficient pendant lighting; installing a new internet system, security gate and security cameras; replacing the fire alarm system and exterior doors; and installing a new fire sprinkler system. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades included modifications to restrooms, interior doors and drinking fountains and installation of wheel chair ramps.
