New Classroom Building
Los Angeles Unified School District
CSDA was hired to provide design services for a multi-phased project that touched all aspects of the existing Amestoy Elementary School campus. The project consisted of removing 12 existing portable classrooms to replace them with permanent new construction. It included two phases of interim housing for ten classrooms and a new two-story classroom building.
The new 24,000 square-foot classroom building will house six kindergarten classrooms, six general classrooms, a teacher workroom, a meeting space, restroom facilities, and outdoor learning environments to provide the Amestoy Elementary School community with 21st Century Learning Environments to develop their flourishing STEAM Academy further.
