Borel Middle School: Project New Gymnasium & Classroom Building

CSDA believes that site planning, pedestrian circulation, and access to outdoor learning/collaboration areas are key elements in successful campus planning. The site plan emphasizes these elements by creating courtyards, quiet areas, and a balance of hard and soft surfaces.

As part of the 2016 Measure X, Phase 1 projects, CSDA designed a new gymnasium and classroom building on the Borel campus. The new gymnasium includes a gym with a regulation-size basketball court and bleacher seating, a PE classroom, locker rooms, student and public restrooms, and a formal entry lobby. The new classroom buildings house six general education classrooms, a faculty workroom, and student and staff restrooms. The total project square footage is 22,278 sf.
