CSU Chico Physical Science Building Renovation

CSDA is providing acoustical consulting services for the CSU Chico Physical Science Building Renovation project located in Chico, CA. The project consists of two phases: Design and pre-construction services called Phase 1 and Phase 2, Design-Build construction services. The existing three-story building will be converted into a general lecture classroom and office space.

The renovation will require the abatement of hazardous materials and will exceed Title 24 energy requirements by at least 10%. The renovated building will house 9 to 12 smart classrooms, 4 computer labs, and office space for up to 200 cubicles.

CSDA’s scope of services includes sound isolation, room acoustics, and MEP/HVAC noise and vibration analysis. These services extend from the Schematic Design phase through Construction Administration.
