El Segundo High School Library Modernization

The project consisted of converting an existing Library space into a new 21st Century Learning Center at El Segundo High School. Centered on the identified client priority of flexibility alongside a keen focus on proper zoning, the intent of the program was to break out the space into sub-regions intended for use by various sized groups with specific programmed requirements. Ultimately, the goal was to create an inspirational learning environment with the capacity to simultaneously suit the needs of individual students, small teams, medium-sized groups, and large gatherings.
