Ravenswood Medical Office Building

CSDA provided acoustical consulting services for the Ravenswood Medical Office Building in East Palo Alto, CA. The two-story, 35,000-square-foot medical office building provides outpatient services. We provided acoustical design input, sound masking design, and recommendations for:

• Speech privacy between exam rooms, consultation rooms, group offices, reception areas, and the conference room
• HVAC noise and vibration reduction
• Room acoustics in the occupied spaces, especially the conference room, to enhance speech intelligibility
• Sound masking system design input and specification review

The Ravenswood Medical Office building was the recipient of a $5 million donation from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Dr. Priscilla Chan to help serve low-income communities in the Peninsula.
