Roosevelt Middle School: Modernization & Reconstruction

This 131,960 sf project consists of general school modernization and reconstruction including interior painting throughout, exterior painting at affected areas, partial window replacement, replacement of the gymnasium wood flooring, design and construction of a new lunch shelter, design and conversion of a wood shop into an instrumental music room, reconstruction of an exiting classroom into a new visual art classroom, extension of the elevator, new interior and exterior circulation upgrades, building system upgrades, fire alarm revisions, play yard resurfacing, and other miscellaneous site work; hazardous material/asbestos remediation, and miscellaneous interior renovation work.

CSDA renovated the theater’s stage, rigging, acoustics, lighting, stage ventilation, finishes and handicap access as part of campus modernization project. The theater is approximately 7,160 sf and seats approximately 800 people.
